So while I have tried to cut down on redundant views of the same ensemble (because I don't think it is good use of space on the deviation page), but this picture was too good to pass up. Pictures of me that I actually like are few and far between. Now if my memory serves I believe this was during early afternoon presentation of the nobles to the queen before feast. I spent quite a good deal of time in the Noble's Glade during my trip to Bristol. I'm sure I was looking at Sir Walter "Oooh-what-a-big-ship-I've-got" Raleigh, or someone like that in this one. ;-)

Anyway, this picture was taken by the very talented Mark Meier, who was very sweet to let me use it. You can see his other images from that faire day here: [link]

If you guys think I am talented I've got nothing on the other nobles featured, most of which are members of the Guilde of St. George. This is what happens when you have insane and lovely guidelines, [link] lots of sewing experience (or a faboo seamstress) and a $300+ budget. -sigh- I'm most of the way there...now if only I lived in northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin...

Very lovely - the outfit is beautiful, and it's nice to see natural, unposed pictures like this. :)

Great gown :)

I fell in love with elizabethan clothing as well, but we hardly have any festivals or anything like that with a renaissance theme ...

Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often. :katana:

Thanks. I am loving your new doublet ensemble as well, but I haven't had a chance to comment on it yet.
